The Early ISD Board of Trustees met earlier this week to discuss the ongoing superintendent search, and board president Sandy Benson told BrownwoodNews.com that seven candidates had been identified for interviews.

Interviews will take place over the next few weeks, with a decision on the next superintendent for Early ISD expected to be announced July 30.

Lloyd Treadwell is currently serving in the role of interim superintendent, replacing Dewayne Wilkins who accepted a position with the Lubbock ISD during the school year.

On June 3, the school district announced that Randall Case had been promoted to head football coach and athletic director, replacing Daniel Price who has moved on to become offensive coordinator at Palestine High School.
