The Howard Payne University Pre-College Music program recently presented the Spring Festival, held in the Davidson Music Complex on the HPU campus. Thirty-one students participated.

The following students earned the “Superior” rating in Piano Solo: Alecs Butka, Brooklyn Butka, Maddox Butka, Mason Danek, Abigail Dean, Abigail Dorman, Zakry Dorman, Jackson Kraemer, Isaiah Marshall, Katya Nowowiejski, Noble Penland, Braylee Reeves, Logan Reeves, Abigail Rico, Scarlet Rico, Brent Rosborough, Gwenie Rosborough, Lucy Smith, Drake Stephenson, Wyatt Stephenson, Akira Tobias, Sofia Vazquez, Ximena Vazquez, Drew Walker and Wade Young.

The students earning the “Superior” rating in Vocal Solo were Addison Marshall, Braylee Reeves, Katelyn Vera and Madelyn Vera.

Participating in the Non-Competitive Category were Jackson Bedford and Hank Smith.

Diane Owens, director of the Pre-College Music program, extended congratulations to these students and their teachers for their accomplishments.
