Brenda Stevens

Brenda Stevens, a cherished homemaker, wife, and mother, passed away on May 26, 2024, in Coleman, Texas, at the age of 68. Brenda was born on October 24, 1955, in Brady, Texas to Harold F. Blackwell and Deloroes Carnell Duncan Blackwell. She was known for her love and devotion not only to her family but also to her beloved dogs.

Brenda’s memory will forever live on in hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard F. Blackwell and Deloroes Carnell Duncan Blackwell Guice, her loving husband Ronnie Stevens, her sister Diana Ford, and nephew Scotty Ford.

Brenda is survived by her son Justin Stevens of Cross Plains; daughter Christie Smith and husband Josh of Benjamin; sister Barbara Dockery and husband Ray of Paint Rock; grandchildren Chase Stevens, Riley James, Dalton James and wife Jacey, and Hailey James; great-grandchildren Scarlett Yeninas and Saylor James; brother-in-law Gary Stevens and wife Doris of Clyde; as well as Ted Ford of Lingleville.

May Brenda Stevens rest in peace as her memory continues to brighten the lives of those she has touched.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
