EARLY – The Early Police Department posted on Facebook Wednesday night that they, along with the Early Fire Department, responded to a call of an apartment fire in the 1100 block of Early Blvd.

A lighting strike caused an electrical short in Longhorn Townhomes complex and residents of 18 apartment units were displaced due to electrical damage.

The Red Cross was notified and assisted in the temporary relocation of the residents.
