Stephanie Bishop

Stephanie Bishop, age 70, passed away May 19, 2024, in Brownwood. A Visitation will be held Thursday May 23, 2024, from 5 -7 p.m. at New Beginnings Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 24, 2024, at The New Beginnings Church in Brownwood with Kelly Crenshaw officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Stephanie was born on July 9, 1953, to Louis J. Kamitchis in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of the New Beginnings Church. Stephanie was a loving mother and Grammy to all her grandchildren. She loved to sing, cook, and help the less fortunate, one of her favorite things to do was volunteering at the Salvation Army.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Don Bishop of Brownwood. Her sons, Jerry Mueggenborg and Sarah of Houston, Jason Bishop of Brownwood, Chris Kamitchis of Brownwood, Blake Bishop and Lindsey of Clifton, Righ Bishop and Tammy of Brownwood. Her daughter Lisa of Temple. Along with numerous Grandkids and Great-Grandkids. Her sister Suzy Gratland of California and brother Joey Kamitchis of Oklahoma.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her father Louis Kamitchis and daughter in law Tammy Kamitchis.
