A signing ceremony was held this past Friday for Bangs Dragons senior Brody Newton, who will continue his education and football career at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.

Newton was a first-team all-district 5-2A Division I offensive tackle and defensive tackle in 2023. On defense, he tallied 22 tackles with one sack and two fumble recoveries. Offensively, he helped paved the way for a unit that averaged 17 points and 266 yards per game.

Culver-Stockton is a four-year NAIA program that competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and is coming off a 1-10 campaign in 2023.
