To honor our fallen heroes from Brown County, Brownwood’s Memorial Day program will be on Monday, May 27 at 11 AM at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial. Navy Commander Chaplain Jim Looby will give the keynote address. Dr. Robert Mangrum will dedicate a plaque honoring glider pilot Skipper Howard on behalf of Howard Payne University. DucTape will speak on behalf of the motorcycle Memorial Day Honor Ride from San Saba to the Central Texas Veterans Memorial to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Brigadier General Dan Locker is the Master of Ceremonies . There it will be a tent and chairs. All are welcome.
