Johnnie Mae McMillan

Johnnie Mae McMillan, a dedicated registered nurse known for her compassionate care towards the sick and injured, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, at Coleman Healthcare in Coleman, Texas. She was born on August 7, 1946, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to her loving parents Johnny Glasspoole and Blanche Oldaker Glasspoole.

Throughout her life, Johnnie made a significant impact on those around her through her selfless as a nurse. Her dedication to helping others extended beyond the walls of the hospital as she actively participated in her community. Johnnie was also a proud member of the Church of God, cherishing the values it instilled in her.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Johnnie found joy and relaxation in various hobbies. She was a member of a motorcycle club where she found delight in riding alongside her friends. Furthermore, she took pleasure in yardwork and cherished the fellowship of her church family.

Johnnie is survived by her sister, Mary Glasspoole of Hobbs, New Mexico, along with multiple nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones who will always remember her kindness and warmth. She is preceded in death by her parents Johnny Glasspoole and Blanche Oldaker Glasspoole.

Johnnie Mae McMillan’s legacy of care and compassion will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a positive difference in the lives of so many.

At Johnnie’s request, no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
