Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Peel, 60, of Brownwood will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood. Visitation will be at 12:00 with services starting at 1:00.

Jerry was born March 20, 1964, in Corpus Christi Texas. He passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024, in Palestine, Tx. He was a lover of many things. He enjoyed fishing, hunting wild animals, playing guitar when he would get one in his hands, restoring classic muscle cars, and had a green thumb like no other. Jerry never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and friends, but most of all, spoiling his grandkids with trips to the store for candy. Jerry loved his boys and adored his beautiful girls, as he called them. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Jeffrey Williams and Amanda of Kerrville, Jeremy Peel and Tiffany of Brownwood, Brandi Burkett of Killeen, Casey Peel and Tiffany of Corpus, Brittani Hopkins and Denny of Brownwood and his youngest daughter Amber Barrow of Brownwood, brothers Danny Ray Peel of Corpus Christi, Sammy Peel and Roy Peel, both of Brownwood, including numerous grandchildren, many friends and extended family.

He is welcomed to his eternal home by his parents Betty and Jerry Peel, daughter Nikki Peel and her 2 sons, sister Terri Lin Peel, grandparents Ewing and Ruby Peel, Clarence and Stella Holland and his son in law, Wesley Burkett. The family would like to express our thanks to everyone that has been here during this time.
