The District 6-4A fourth seed Brownwood Lady Lions will face District 5-4A champion and 10th-ranked Snyder in the Region I bi-district round of the Class 4A state softball playoffs this weekend.

The best of three series will be played at Abilene Cooper High School with Game 1 slated for 5 p.m. Friday. Game 2 between Brownwood (10-12) and Snyder (25-2-1) is set for 1 p.m. Saturday with Game 3, if needed to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2.

Brownwood and Snyder met earlier this season in tournament action, with the Lady Lions dropping a 9-0 decision.
