Maria Alicia Delgado, age 70, of Brownwood, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in Brownwood. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, April 21, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services for Maria will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 22 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Maria was born on November 11, 1953 in Brownwood to Nicolas ad Maria Delgado. She lived in Brownwood for all of her life. She loved cooking, watching cooking shows, and gardening. Most of all she enjoyed being a granny; Maria loved being around her grandchildren.

Maria is survived by her children, Mary Williams and husband Tyron, and Vianey Sotelo and husband Danny; grandchildren, Layiana Hernandez, LaQuieta Evers, Salvador Sanchez, Esperanza Sanchez, and Isaiah Sanchez; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Ben Delgado; and sister, Virgina Flores. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas and Maria Delgado; and brothers, Chirs Delgado and John Lopez.
