Loretta Young Jamison, 68 years old of Fresno, California, passed away on Thursday, April 11th, 2024, in Abilene, Texas. A viewing will be held at Brownwood Funeral Home on Friday, April 19th at 10:00 a.m.

Loretta Young Jamison,68 was born in Fresno, California to Bessie Mae and Ernest Young Sr. on November 17th, 1955. She graduated from Washington Union High School. She married the Love of her Life Gus Jamison 37 years ago in October 1987. Loretta was a nurse who loved her residents and co-workers to whom she devoted the past ten years! A woman so selfless and generous. To know Loretta is to Love Her.

Loretta was preceded in death by her Parents Bessie Mae and Ernest Sr., her oldest sister Leola Hill, her oldest daughter Tasha Thomas–Williams and her best friend Charlotte Carr-Bell.

Loretta is survived by her loving husband Gus of 37 years, daughters Lashonda and Michelle, two brothers Ernest Jr, and James, her sister Betty and Husband Bruce, sister-in-law Erma Jean, 7 grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, her favorite nieces Debbie and Angel, Friend, and coworker Linda and a list of other nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.

The Jamison family wishes to sincerely thank the Center of Life Resources Staff for Loving Loretta the way you all did.
