James Courtland Justice, age 79, of Rising Star, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2024.

James was born to George Delmas Justice and Vivian Leona Gantz Justice, on October 2, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. He married the love of his life, Earlene Faulkner, in Cross Plains and they shared a wonderful life. James was a skilled carpenter and worked in construction the majority of his life. Above all, James loved the Lord and served as a pastor.

James is survived by his brother, Mike Justice of Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife and siblings, Delmas Samuel Justice, Albert David Justice, Ophelia Ruth Merrill and Martha Kay Justice.
