The Bangs Dragons officially released their 2024 football schedule Monday afternoon, as it will be the program’s first season under new head coach Colton Buzzard.

The Dragons, coming off a 2-8 campaign in 2023, host Early in the Aug. 30 opener followed by another home game against Merkel on Sept. 6. Two straight road games follow at Grape Creek on Sept. 13 and Abilene TLCA on Sept. 20. The pre-district slate wraps up at home against Colorado City on Sept. 27.

The District 5-2A Division I slate kicks off Oct. 11 at home against Ballinger followed by an Oct. 18 home date with Hico. The Dragons then visit Hamilton on Oct. 25, host De Leon on Nov. 1 and wrap up the regular season at Coleman on Nov. 8.
