Juanita Pauline Ward, 93, of Bangs, TX passed away on April 11, 2024, of natural causes. Juanita was born April 7, 1931, to Stefan Ferdianand Kumor and Florence Velma Priest in Zephyr, TX.

In 1947, Juanita met Doyal Haskel Ward. They married in 1948. Juanita and Doyal went on to have two children, Paula Annette Kuhn and Randal Clay Ward.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Doyal Haskel Ward; parents, Stefan Ferdianand Kumor and Florence Velma Priest; her stepbrother, Eldon Stockman; and her stepsister, Vivian Norman. She is survived by her daughter Paula Annette Kuhn of Waller, TX; granddaughter, Shelley Greenfield of Woodland Park, CO; Grandson Christopher Kuhn of Waller, TX; her son and daughter in-law Randal Clay Ward and Jan Ward of Waco, Texas; Grandson, Ryan Ward of Lampasas, TX; Granddaughter, Christy Hazelwood of Georgia; Granddaughter, Allyson Dean of Waco, TX; and many loving Great-Grandchildren.

Juanita’s memories with friends and family will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Juanita Ward’s visitation and funeral will be held at Heartland Funeral Home in Early Texas on April 15, 2024. Visitation will be from 10-11am with the funeral held on
April 15, 2024, at 11 by Pastor Michael Light of Bangs Church of Christ.
Her burial will be immediately following at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in May, TX.
