Jennifer Rose Morgan, beloved daughter, mother, partner, and friend, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Abilene, Texas. Jennifer was born on December 10, 1986, in Hamlin, Texas, to her parents Russel Green and Joan Green.

In her journey through life, Jennifer displayed a remarkable spirit and zest for living. She pursued her education with determination and resilience, attending school in Hamlin and ultimately obtaining her G.E.D. She furthered her studies by earning a paralegal certificate.

Those who knew Jennifer were captivated by her vibrant and outgoing personality. She found joy in various simple pleasures of life such as watching TV shows like “Supernatural” and dancing with her children and her beloved dog Scamp.

Jennifer is survived by a host of loved ones who will cherish her memory forever. She leaves behind her loving partner, Cody Hodge of Abilene; three children – Marilyn Morgan, Jesse Morgan, and Alayna Hodge; her mother Joan Green; siblings Norella LaSalle, Gwyn Quarles, Alex Green, and Ashley Hawk-Huie; as well as her maternal grandmother Rev. Jeanetta Josey.

Though Jennifer has left this world to reunite with her father Russel Green and son Brandon Morgan who preceded her in death, the legacy of love and joy she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Coleman Church of the Nazarene, 1016 S. Concho Street, in Coleman with Rev. Jonetta Josey officiating. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Morgan family by signing the guestbook on Jennifer’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Morgan family.
