Brownwood Independent School District (BISD) will be accepting transfer applications during the month of April for the 2024-2025 school year. This applies to out-of-district and in-district requests and includes BISD employee’s children.

Current transfer students must submit an application each year.

New out-of-district applications will be accepted for students in grades kindergarten through grade twelve. A current proof of residency and the student’s most recent report card must be attached to the request for students new to BISD. BISD does not accept new PK students for transfer.

Applications must be submitted by April 30. Notification of approval or denial will be mailed to applicants by the end of July.
