10u Bombers took 1st place in the Smash Bash tournament this past weekend. They played a strong team from Dripping Springs in the championship, who had a strong pitcher in the circle.

Kallie Atkinson led the way at the plate hitting .857 on the weekend. Taylor Dunn, Fynlee Brown, Watts, and Mayra Garcia hit .500. Bailey Huff hit .444, Scout Sheffield .333 and Aubree Collins .250.

Scout Sheffield pitched 8 innings and had 12 strikeouts. Camdyn Nelson pitched 8 innings and had 12 strikeouts. Watts pitched 2 innings with 2 strikeouts.  Camdyn Nelson was picked as MVP in the championship by opposing coaches ! She played great and was a great leader.

Other big plays on the weekend were Hannah Armstrongs huge catch in right field. Aubree Collins also came up huge throwing a runner out at 2nd from center. Watts also gunned down a runner from her knees who was stealing.

10u Bombers will be back in action this weekend.
