Tynlea Wilson doubled, one of two hits for Brownwood (7-10, 1-2), which next hosts Stephenville at 7 p.m. Thursday.

GRAHAM – The Brownwood Lady Lions were unable to put together back-to-back District 6-4A softball victories as they dropped a 12-0 decision to the Graham Lady Blues Monday night.

Brownwood (7-10, 1-2) trailed 2-0 going into the bottom of the third inning, where Graham (16-7, 1-1) struck for 10 runs to put the game out of reach.

The Lady Lions mustered just two hits off Graham pitcher Reese Calhoun, who struck out 10. Tynlea Wilson doubled in the second inning for Brownwood, while Carlee Burks added a third-inning single.

Wilson also pitched all five innings and gave up 11 earned runs on 11 hits with four strikeouts and five walks. The Lady Lions defense committed a pair of errors.

Graham was fueled by two hits and three RBIs from Paris Tate, two hits and one RBI apiece from Calhoun and Meagan Brooks, and one hit and two RBIs from Emily Lawson.

The Lady Lions will next host Stephenville at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to wrap up the first half District 6-4A competition.
