County-Wide Clean Up slated for April 6

The City of Brownwood recently posted the following on its Facebook page:

Our annual County-Wide Clean Up will take place April 6, 2024 from 8 am until noon. This program is made possible in partnership with Keep Brownwood Beautiful and the City of Brownwood.

What to Bring:

Household garbage, metal, refrigerators (free of food), stoves, ovens, AC units, latex paint (limit 10 gallons), antifreeze, used motor oil (limit 5 gallons), car batteries, passenger car tires (limit 8, 20 inches or less, no tractor or 18 wheelers tires NO tire dealers or resellers).

Where to Take It:

Under the Austin Avenue overpass (Avenue A & Brady Avenue). Cars, Vans, & Pickups Only. Trailers must go to the landfill. (Free of charge from 8 am- 2pm.) Loads must be covered.
