Debra Lehman

Debra Lehman, age 74, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024. Funeral services for Debra will be held at 3 P.M on Monday, March 4, at Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1 P.M. Inurnment will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, March 6, at Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Debra was born on June 6, 1949 in Victoria, to Lilyan and Alton Wood. After graduating from high school, Debra worked for BNSF railroad. Throughout her life, she also worked for TxDOT, and then was self employed as a daycare owner, and at D&L operating. Debra enjoyed sewing and quilting, genealogy, tending to her garden, traveling, and taking trips with Farm Bureau. She was active in the Quilter’s Guild and a faithful member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Debra loved and supported her family, whether it was following her children and grandchildren in sports, or farming and ranching with her husband Lewis, she was always there. Debra was a fierce and passionate woman about her family, and was a devout Christian.

Debra is survived by her children, Wes Mullins and Julie Mullins; chosen children, Josh Wood and wife Erika, and Beth Haley (Mullins) and husband Eric; grandchildren, Chris Mullins, Brooklann Mullins, and Baylor Gilbreath; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Rusty Wood; brother in laws, Wilford Arnold Lehman, and Norton Travis Lehman; nieces, Jamie Sundin, and Mandy Presslar; and nephews, Beau Wood, and Timothy Wood.
