Donald (Don) Glen Doss

Donald (Don) Glen Doss passed away February 20, 2024. Don’s family will hold a graveside service on Saturday, March 2, at 10:00 AM at Jordan Springs Cemetery and all are invited to attend.

Don was born June 30, 1961 in San Saba, Texas, to Gene and Leavern Doss. Don grew up in Brookesmith and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1979. He then went on to graduate from Tarleton State University in 1983, anyone who knew him knew he was an Aggie at heart. Don worked in the Austin area as a mechanical engineer for 3M, AirBorn, Inc., and Voltex for many years before retiring. He moved back to Early in recent years to be close to family and enjoyed the time with his sister and cheering on his great nephews and nieces at sporting events.

Don is survived by his daughters, Sarah Cermin of Cypress, Texas, Amanda Mitcham and husband Levi of Spring, Texas; Granddaughter, Hannah Cermin of Cypress, Texas; Sister, Jerita Parson and husband Tommy of Bangs, Texas; Brother, Droyce Doss and wife Kathy of Belton, Texas; a host of nieces and nephews as well as 4 special great nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Leavern Doss.
