The Brownwood JV tennis team put forth a solid effort at the Waco High Invitational earlier this week, bringing home a trio of silver medals.

Finishing second were Kris Koepp in Boys Singles A, Zoe Smith in Girls Singles A, and Cooper Morgan and Jazzmyn Sanchez in Mixed Doubles A.

Other competitors included Eric Waldrop and Andre Martinez, who were fourth in Boys Doubles A; Emory May and Shari Ray, who were fourth in Girls Doubles B; Makenzie Williams, who was fifth in Girls Singles B; and Emily Ochoa and Aqua Garcia, who were fifth in Girls Doubles A.

Teams competing along with Brownwood were Waco High, Belton New Tech, Harker Heights, Taylor, Liberty Hill, Leander Glenn, Temple, Gatesville, and Waco Midway.
