CISCO – The Bangs Dragons chalked up an 8-1 road victory over the Cisco Loboes Tuesday afternoon in non-district baseball action.

The Dragons (4-2) scored single runs in the second, third, fourth and sixth innings, before tacking on the final four runs in the top of the seventh. Cisco managed its lone run in the bottom of the fourth.

Kade Minshew and Zack Ferguson combined to allow one earned run on three hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.

At the plate, the Dragons recorded 14 hits led by five from Skylar Minshew, who drove in two runs; three from Ferguson, who tallied an RBI; two from Hunter Newton; and one apiece from Kenny Cole, Conner Bible, Brayden Gatlin and Weston Scantling. Bible chipped in a pair of RBIs while Gatlin and Hunter Crowell also contributed an RBI apiece.

Bangs will be back in action at the Sweetwater tournament Thursday through Saturday.
