LUBBOCK – The Brownwood Lions finished fourth as a team at the 36-hole Region I-4A preview golf tournament at Shadow Hills Golf Course, which took place Friday and Saturday.
The Lions finished with a 618 composite score over the two rounds, which left them behind Andrews Black (584), Bridgeport (599) and Andrews Gold (610).
Individually, Brownwood was led by Hudson Reagan’s fifth-place score of 147, trailed by Sir Bubba Jones in 14th place with a 152, Caleb Modawell in 23rd place with a 154, Cobe Walker and Peyton Sharp tied in 57th place with scores of 167, and Will Stewardson finished 71st with a 170.
The Lions are slated to return to action March 1-2 at the Abilene High Invitational, hosted by The Hideout at Lake Brownwood.
