James D. Ranne’

James D. Ranne’, age 94, passed from this life to his Heavenly home on January 22, 2024 at a local nursing home.  He was born on January 9, 1930 in Rochelle, Texas.
James lived a long, healthy life until the last few months.  He was a lifelong resident of central and west Texas including San Angelo, Bangs and Mullin.
James was a lifelong Baptist and knew Jesus as his Saviour.  He loved to sing old time hymns at church and anywhere he could.  He retired from 3M Co. in Brownwood.  James had also worked as a retail milkman, rural mail carrier and meter reader. His hobbies were farming & bee keeping.  He was known to have some of the best honey in the area.
James is survived by three daughters.  LaDonna Cullins of Springfield, MO and her son Coby Cullins.  Katrina Lee of Brownwood and her two sons, Chris Garcia and Val Garcia.  Chira Hall of Bangs and her four children, Coiley Burns, Tony Burns, Bry’anna Cooper and Milagros Ferrer.  He also had numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  James was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Ranne’.
Per James’ request his body was donated to science in hopes of helping others.  No public services were held.
