BRADY – The Early Lady Horns finished second in the final team standings at the Brady Heart of Texas Invitational powerlifting meet Thursday, while the Longhorns came in fourth.

Competing for the Lady Horns were:

• Alexa Hernandez, 1^st in the 123s with 900 pounds lifted and Best Lightweight Lifter
• Meghan McCorkle, 1^st in the 105s with 565 pounds lifted
• Julienne Socong, 1^st in the 114s with 800 pounds lifted
• Henslee Middleton, 2^nd in the 105s with 540 pounds lifted
• Matty Boswell, 2^nd in the 114s with 760 pounds lifted
• Kaylie DeVusser, 3^rd in the 181s with 640 pounds lifted
• Marlee Martinez, 4^th in the 181s with 640 pounds lifted

Results for the Longhorns included:

• Brooks Clippinger, 1^st in the 220s with 1,600 pounds lifted
• Jacob Braun, 1^st in the 275s with 1,500 pounds lifted
• Griffin Cheslock, 2^nd in the 181s with 1,410 pounds lifted
