Lady Horns place second as a team, Longhorns fourth at Brady powerlifting meet

BRADY – The Early Lady Horns finished second in the final team standings at the Brady Heart of Texas Invitational powerlifting meet Thursday, while the Longhorns came in fourth.

Competing for the Lady Horns were:

  • Alexa Hernandez, 1st in the 123s with 900 pounds lifted and Best Lightweight Lifter
  • Meghan McCorkle, 1st in the 105s with 565 pounds lifted
  • Julienne Socong, 1st in the 114s with 800 pounds lifted
  • Henslee Middleton, 2nd in the 105s with 540 pounds lifted
  • Matty Boswell, 2nd in the 114s with 760 pounds lifted
  • Kaylie DeVusser, 3rd in the 181s with 640 pounds lifted
  • Marlee Martinez, 4th in the 181s with 640 pounds lifted

Results for the Longhorns included:

  • Brooks Clippinger, 1st in the 220s with 1,600 pounds lifted
  • Jacob Braun, 1st in the 275s with 1,500 pounds lifted
  • Griffin Cheslock, 2nd in the 181s with 1,410 pounds lifted
  • Dalton Adams, 2nd in the 242s with 1,350 pounds lifted
  • Rico Vasquez, 3rd in the 242s with 1,270 pounds lifted
  • Brayden Schafer, 7th in the 165s with 900 pounds lifted
  • Ethan Miller, 10th in the 198s with 720 pounds lifted
