Christian (Chris) Haller

Christian (Chris) Haller, age 83, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2024. A graveside service for Chris will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 10, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in May, Texas (3234 FM 2273 May, TX 76857.)

Chris was born on July 15, 1940 to Adam and Elizabeth Haller in Novi Verbas, Yugoslavia. He graduated from Edmin Denby High School in Detroit, Michigan, then enlisted in the United States Army in 1963. After being honorable discharged, Chris worked for Cincinnati Milicron as a Machinist Engineer for many years. Chris enjoyed swimming, hunting, fishing, going thrift shopping, going on vacations, and eating at Golden Coral on Sundays. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Cheryn Anne Brice; step son, Kieth Bellew and wife Liz; step daughter, Karen Michelle Ard and husband Joe, and his long-time girlfriend, Wathena Bellew; 8 grandchildren Courtney Ard, Dylan Ard, Shawnie Brice, and Chris Nelson Justin Edward Bellew, Kylie Annette Bellew, Braden Dean Bellew, and Madison Elizabeth Bellew; 8 great grandchildren, Autumn Rose Nelson, Zoey Anna Marie Winkleman, Oliver Vasilli Nelson, Dahlia Rin Gayton, Cole William Nara, Luna Iris Gayton, Caiden Joe Winkleman, and Hudson Howard Nara.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Elizabeth Haller.
