Brookesmith ISD issued the following information Friday:

Kim Hancock. Who knew that way back in 1995 when she entered the Brookesmith cafeteria for the first time, that she would be walking into her second home? Twenty Eight and a half years later, she walked out RETIRED! She is pictured above with her husband, Matt (left) and Brookesmith Principal Scott Edmondson.

Congratulations to her! The students, staff and faculty of Brookesmith ISD will miss her.
