Economic Summit scheduled for Feb. 7

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following press release Friday:

Join us for the 2024 Economic Summit presented by TexasBank on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mabee Development Center, located at Howard Payne University. Breakfast will be served.

We are thrilled to announce Larry McManus, Director of Business and Community Development with the Division of Economic Development & Tourism in the office of Governor Greg Abbott, as our keynote speaker. In addition, we have Legislative Consultant Joe Morris, Director of BMDD & Tourism Ray Tipton, and Deputy City Manager Marshal McIntosh lined up to speak. The summit will conclude with an engaging multi-person panel discussion before noon.

Tickets are $35 – Tables of 8 are $350
