Shawn Patrick Cross, age 55, of Bangs, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. Patrick’s family will hold a celebration of his life on February 10, from 2 to 5 PM at the Bangs Community Center 406 W Spencer Street, Bangs, Texas 76823.

Patrick was born to Irving and Patricia on December 1, 1968 in Vallejo, California. He worked mainly as a house painter, but also worked in construction and at Burger King in Brownwood. Patrick enjoyed listening to music, his favorite rock band was Tool, and playing the drums. Most of all, he loved hanging out with his family and his boys, Andrew and Dustin. Patrick was a wonderful story teller and never met a stranger.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Patricia Gantt of Oregon; fiancée, Cynthia Keeney of Bangs; sons, Dustin Marshall and Andrew McCurdy both of Bangs, Robert Patrick Cross of Idaho; daughters, Hillary Wiseman, Melissa Morris-Cross and Evonna Cross all of Idaho and Hannah and Olivia Earley both of Irving, Texas; sister, Jennifer Boatwright of Idaho; grand-daughters, Elena, Iris and Phoenix; sister-in-law, Rebecca Keeney-Lovejoy; brother-in-law by marriage, Michael Lovejoy; niece, Shelby Lovejoy who loved him to the moon and back!, as well as many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irving Cross of California.

Online condolences, memories and tributes can be made to the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
