Beth Eggert

Beth Eggert, age 91, of Bangs, passed away on Monday January 29, 2024, at a local nursing home.

Beth was born on July 28, 1932, to O.B. and Fannie McNeeley. She was a longtime resident of Bangs and a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Bangs. She owned and operated Eggert Daycare for many years. Beth volunteered at the Brown County Museum and loved the library.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Brown and husband Kurt, 2 sons, Robert Eggert and wife Debbie and Charles Eggert and wife Leslie, 5 grandchildren, Christina, Deedra, Amanda, Daniel and Christopher, 5 great-grandchildren, Jack, Sara, Solana, Jaxson, and Chloe, Brother, O.B. McNeeley, 2 sisters, Linnie Jean Stanley and Clara Baker, sister-in-law, Earnestine McNeeley, along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Eggert, Parents, O.B. and Fannie McNelley, brother, Jack McNeeley, brother-in-law, Gary Baker and brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Beverly Eggert

A graveside service for Beth will be held on Friday February 2, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Bangs Cemetery with Jim Eggert officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the 1st Baptist Church Library.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Condolences can be made at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com
