The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 6th Annual Professional Women’s Summit, presented by Brownwood Municipal Development District, on March 21-22 in Brownwood TX. March 21st attendees will meet at the historic Brownwood Lyric Theatre, doors open at 8:00 AM for registration breakfast and networking, the official program from 9 am – 3 p.m. March 22nd attendees will meet at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center at 10:30 am for registration, brunch, and skills building workshops. On the afternoon of March 21, 2024 we will award the Bettie Girling Distinguished Woman Award presented by Texas-Clean Inc. Bettie Girling was an incredible woman who blessed many lives with her strength of character, wisdom and giving spirit. Her legacy includes 40 years in business with her husband, Bob Girling, with Girling Health Care, Inc. Criteria for Nomination include a woman that lives in Brown County who is natural leader, supporter of community service projects, and a woman who has served as a mentor for other women in the community.
