Jordan Barton

Jordan Barton has spent a little over a year at Turnkey Realty, where in 2023 he was named the top producer for the Brownwood office as he sold more dollars in all aspects of real estate – residential, commercial, farm and ranch.

Regarding his approach to his job, Jordan said, “I’m going to be the first one to answer my phone. I’m always available, I’m always in the office. I place honesty and ethics at the very top of my list in the ways I treat people.”

Jordan, 45, who has been selling real estate for 2 ½ years, started at Turkney on Jan. 1, 2023. Turnkey Realty is a full-service real estate office, located in the Vault building at 113 East Baker Street in downtown Brownwood, with agents dedicated to meeting their clients’ needs, whether you’re buying or selling a farm, ranch, residential or commercial property.

“Turnkey was opening an office in a really desirable spot in downtown,” Jordan said. “I wanted to be a part of the downtown scene, and I really liked the building. I was looking forward to working in that new location and the future growth of Brownwood and I wanted to be part of the commercial growth. I thought it was a great opportunity.”

Barton moved to the area in 2017 in another line of work, but soon gave real estate a try.

“I spent about 20 years traveling in the oil fields and transportation, and I was tired of traveling and the cyclical nature of the oil field in general,” Jordan said. “I was trying to figure out a way to stay close to home and make money. The agent who I used when I bought my house in Early convinced me to give it a shot, so I did.”

Jordan was born in Colorado, moved to Texas at age 6, and has spent time in the Metroplex and Austin.

To contact Jordan about your real estate needs, call 325-800-6123 or email [email protected].

“Being in downtown, our door’s always open,” Jordan said. “If you’re having a beer across the street and see a light on, come say hi and talk.”
