BURNET – The Brownwood Lady Lions picked up their second straight victory at the Burnet soccer tournament Friday afternoon, earning a 1-0 triumph over La Vernia.

The Lady Lions (6-2) scored the game’s lone goal on a kick by Jacklyn Lewis, that was assisted by Madison Weckworth.

Brownwood will conclude tournament action at noon Saturday against Georgetown Gateway.
