Carey Bleeker

Carey Bleeker, age 65, of Coleman formerly of Bangs passed away on January 05, 2024, in Abilene.

A Celebration of Life for Carey will be held on January 20, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Carey was born January 19, 1958, to Leo and Mary Sue Bleeker in Brownwood, Texas. Carey lived and graduated high school in Bangs, Texas where he excelled in football. He remained in Bangs before moving to Midlothian, Texas in 2014. He then moved to Coleman, Texas in 2021. His smile and laugh will be truly missed.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Lisa Puckett of Midlothian, Texas and Leslie Starnes and her husband Brian of Ovilla, Texas; Nieces and nephews, Brandon and Gabrielle Puckett of Midlothian, Texas; Britny Davis of Italy, Texas; Blake and Brittany Starnes of Midlothian, Texas; Bethany Puckett of Granbury, Texas; and Mason Starnes of Midlothian, Texas; Carey was blessed with 10 great nieces and nephews; Paige, Trinity, Macy, Leo, David, Scarlett, Cullen, Alaiya, Alston, and June; He had many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who he loved dearly.

Carey is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Lida Bleeker; grandparents, Valdema and Beulah Bleeker; grandmother, Thelma Drury; 2 aunts, Pauline Bleeker and Zelda Donley; 5 uncles, LeRoy Bleeker, Melvin Reams, Billy Dean Drury, Donnie Drury, and Ralph Drury; and cousin, Bryan Bleeker
