The victim of Sunday’s drowning at Lake Brownwood has been identified as s 64-year-old male Ricky Green from Lake Brownwood, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.

On Sunday, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the Lake Haven area of a male subject who suffered from Dementia walking away from his house around 3 am. An extensive search was conducted by multiple agencies. Just after sunrise the male’s body was located in the water. The name of the male was being withheld to allow the next of kin to be notified.
