The Brown County Sheriff’s Office released the following information this morning:

“On 12-31-23, The Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the Lake Haven area of a male subject who suffered from Dementia walking away from his house around 3 a.m.  An extensive search was conducted by multiple agencies.  Just after sunrise the male’s body was located in the water.  The name of the male is being withheld to allow the next of kin to be notified.”
