Perry Davis, age 72, of Brownwood, passed away December 20, 2023, in Brownwood.
A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
Perry was a longtime resident of Coleman and Brown County. He worked for 20 years at the Havins Unit and during that time earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Perry also served in the US Airforce for 4 years.
Perry is survived by his wife, Norma Davis of Brownwood, Texas; 2 sons, Steven Davis of Brownwood, Texas and J.J. Boese and wife Deanna of Goldthwaite, Texas; 2 daughters, Stephanie Hance of Brownwood, Texas and Barbara Andrews and Nathan Prosise of Brownwood, Texas; brother, Terry Davis and wife Suzy of Coleman, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Davis and wife Jennifer, Thomas Davis and wife Kyla, Tiffany Davis, and Nacoma Davis; he is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Sheila Davis; son, Perry Lynn Davis Jr.; 2 sisters, Rosa Lee Crowder and Charlie Mae Boatright.
