Bobby Joe Pesina, 40, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. His family will host a visitation from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 27th at Heartland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10 am Thursday, December 28th at Heartland Funeral Home in Early with interment to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.
Bobby was born on December 25, 1982 in Brownwood and later moved to Gustine, CA where he made a life for over 20 years along side his wife Jackie with their two children, Jaden and Chelsey, and with the many friends he made along the way. One of his greatest accomplishments was seeing Jaden and Chelsey walk the stage at graduation, making for one of Bobby and Jackie’s happiest and proudest days.
Bobby loved his family and would do anything for them. He enjoyed and looked forward to his daily conversations he would have over the phone with his dad, Jessie Pesina. Growing up Bobby would constantly follow his older brother David around and together they would get in and out of trouble. But no matter what they always had each other’s backs. He was a great man with a big heart that loved making people laugh. If he knew you were sad or needed a pick me up, he was quick to try to put a smile on your face, however he could. He had a sense of humor like no other and a contagious smile that left his imprint in every heart and memory of those he came in contact with. Bobby will be greatly missed by his family and many friends he made throughout his life.
Bobby is survived by his wife Jackie Henderson of Gustine, CA; son Jaden Pesina of Gustine, CA; daughter, Chelsey Marquez of Gustine, CA; mother, Elsa Pesina Martinez of Brownwood, TX; mother-in-law, Kathy Diciano of Gustine, CA; dad, Jessie Pesina Sr of Brownwood, TX; 2 sisters, Mary Gonzales and husband Adam, Roxanne Martinez and husband, Ricardo Rodriguez of Brownwood, TX; 3 brothers, Ricky Martinez and wife Amanda, Jessie Pesina and wife Linda, David Pesina and wife Jennifer Worsham all of Brownwood, TX.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Ofelia Pesina; 2 brothers, Raymond Pesina and Ernest Pesina; cousin, Erica Pesina and dad, Enrique Martinez.
