Pamela Celia Frakes

Pamela Celia Frakes, age 77, of Brownwood, passed away November 30, 2023, in Brownwood. A memorial service for Pamela Celia Frakes will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel of Brownwood.

Pamela Celia Frakes was born on February 3, 1946, to Frederick Raymond (Ray) Maresh and Barbara Ellen Maresh in Southgate, California. She was the second born of three daughters.

Following high school, she married Terry Preston Johnson in 1962, in Los Angeles, California. She later married Stanley Rick Wayne Frakes (Rick) and they had three children together. Pamela had a strong love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and lived life praising and loving him. Pamela also instilled those beliefs in her children. She lived her whole life with who she loved most, her kids and grandkids. She spent her life dedicated to her kids and when they were grown, she stepped in to help where she was needed with her grandkids so that her kids could be successful. Pamela was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

Pamela is survived by 2 sons; Michael Frakes and wife Lori of Chico, California and Danield Frakes and wife Charlene of Riverside, California; daughter, Cynthia A Satterfield and husband Jerry of Early, Texas; Sister, Barbara Ray Mulkins and husband Jerry of Bloomington, California; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Saddler; and niece, Shelly Cockrahn of Rockford, Illinois.
