Herlean Thomas age 74 of Coleman, Texas, passed to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:45 am at Hendricks Medical Cen North in Abilene.

Services will be Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Feed Store Ministries Church in Santa Anna with Pastor Vernon Jones officiating under the direction and care of The Saff of Henderson Funeral Home.  A gathering of friends and family for a visitation will be Thursday from 5 till 7 pm at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna.

She was born Herlean Terrell on July 13, 1949 in Shields, Texas to Tom and Rosa Lee Jackson Terrell.  Herlean was raised in Santa Anna where she attended Santa Anna Schools and was a member of the Truevine Baptist Church.  She always enjoyed sports and visiting with family.  Herlean was a nurse’s aide working at the Ranger Park Nursing Home and at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home until her retirement

Survivors include 3 Daughters – Phyllis and husband Curtis Brown of Rock Hill, SC, Darlene Terrell of Coleman, TX, and Virginia Ann Thomas of Coleman, TX; 3 Sons – Willie Lee & wife Lisa Thomas of Coleman, TX, Billy Wayne Thomas of Coleman, TX, Anthony Ray Thomas of Santa Anna, TX; 2 Sisters – Nancy Terrell of Brownwood, TX, Willie Reed of Pampa, TX; Nieces and Nephews; and 20 Grandchildren Many Great Grandchildren.

 Herlean was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Lewis Terrell in 2018.

 Pallbearers include Anthony Thomas, Theo Thomas, Thomas Diaz, Jr., Rodney Potts, Jr., D J Terrell, Anthony Thomas, Jr.
