SNYDER – The Brownwood Lions suffered a second consecutive setback Tuesday night, dropping a 64-53 non-district road decision to the Snyder Tigers.

Brownwood (8-10) trailed Snyder (7-11) by a 21-8 count after one quarter, 32-17 at halftime and 49-29 heading into the fourth period.

Morsello Hooker scored a team-high 21 points for the Lions followed by Casey Friebel with 11 points, Ike Hall and Aaron Edmonds with six each, Grant Gray with four, Hayden Proffitt with three, Weston Wolf and Quinten McCarty with two each, and Ross Stasner with one point.

The Lions will face Llano at 2:45 p.m. Thursday in their final game before the TexasBank Holiday Classic Dec. 27-29 in Brownwood.
