It is with the heaviest of hearts we must bid farewell to our beautiful Pamela Anne Ledbetter.   The sun was shining, and the birds were singing as her soul left our world on the morning of December 6, 2023.    She leaves behind incredible memories for all who were fortunate enough to know her.   She was an avid world traveler, compassionate volunteer, and selfless homemaker.  Pam was the beloved wife of James W. Ledbetter and cherished mother of Tab Ledbetter.

Pam and her twin sister, Dianne were born on August 25, 1949 in White Plains, NY to William and Margaret Tucker.   She grew up in Houston, graduating from Jesse H. Jones High School. She attended Texas Tech in Lubbock where she earned her degree and met Jamie. They married May 27, 1972 and moved to Golthwaite, TX.

Along with Jamie and Tab, she is also survived by her brother Jeffery Tucker, sister Dianne McWilliams and her husband, Danny. She adored her nieces Samantha Martin, Beth Tamez, Katie Letsos, Jenny Tucker and their families. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Paula, her daughter-in-law to be and beyond excited to be a grandmother to Tomás and Helena.

Pam loved with her whole heart and always erred on the side of compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, December 14th at the Western Heritage Cowboy Church in Goldthwaite.  Following Pam’s example, the family kindly requests donations be made to the following organizations that she supported in lieu of flowers:

The Women Against Violence Project

PO Box 835

Goldthwaite, Tx 76844

The mission of the WAV project is to provide immediate shelter and protection to victims of family and domestic violence.

Or

Habitat For Humanity http://comalhabitat.salsalabs.org/inmemoryof

Donations made to Habitat for Humanity through this link will go directly towards building materials for the home of a   family in Texas with a special needs child.
