The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of December 6:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 61-64 degrees; 8.68 feet below pool. Black bass are slow on jigs and crankbaits around rocky points and shoreline in 2-8 feet of water. Crappie are slow around the docks on minnows in 9-15 feet of water. White bass are slow on crankbaits and small jigs. Catfish are slow on baited holes.

LAKE CISCO

FAIR. Water slightly stained; 60 degrees; 11.54 feet below pool. Few anglers on the water. Flathead catfish and channel catfish are slow on cut bait in shallow water. Blue catfish can be caught on cut bait in 10-20 feet of water. Typically the crappie move deep once the water temperature drops 60 degrees. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water stained; 63-68 degrees; 9.02 feet below pool. Bass are fair to 3 pounds on F6 Hags in golden cherry, black/blue chatter baits and jigs tipped with a green pumpkin Hags Undertaker Jr. Crappie are fair to 1.00 pound suspended in 10-12 feet of water around trees and docks on minnows. White and hybrid bass are slow.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

FAIR. Water stained; 60 degrees; 30.14 feet below pool. White bass are fair using live baits and plastic baits. Crappie are good on live bait or jigs. Largemouth are fair. As the lake level drops, be cautious of the trees. Report by Concho Park and Marina.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 60 degrees; 12.78 feet below pool. Target bass on ledges slowly working crankbaits or rattletraps. Catfish can be caught drifting stink bait or cut bait. Hybrid and sand bass are schooling biting slabs. Crappie are hitting minnows with the jig bite improving around rock structures.
