HOOPS ROUNDUP: May teams sweep Priddy, Zephyr squads take two from Lometa

MAY – The May Lady Tigers improved to 9-2 on the season with a 52-28 home victory over Priddy Tuesday night.

The Lady Tigers led 17-6 after one quarter, 26-17 at halftime, and 44-23 through three periods.

Jordyn Gerhardt scored a team-high 17 points followed by McKenna Landes with nine, Chloe Lord with eight, Mia Musick with seven, Estrelle Bustamante with five, Kenleigh Williford with four, and Kenlyn King with two points.

May will next compete in the Zephyr tournament Thursday through Saturday.

May Tigers 46, Priddy 20

MAY – The May Tigers moved to 3-2 on the season with a 46-20 home victory over Priddy Tuesday night.

The Tigers were in front 15-0 after one quarter, 33-5 at halftime, and 41-12 through three periods.

Zack Martin scored a team-high 11 points for May followed by Jackson Lusk with eight and Brody Stice with six points.

May will next compete in the Zephyr tournament Thursday through Saturday.
