U11 Lady Katz capture NTSA State Tournament championship

The Centex Soccer Association U11 Lady Katz competed in the North Texas Soccer Association State Tournament in Frisco.

North Texas Soccer has 582 teams in the U11 girls divisions in associations across Texas. The top team from each association advances to the state tournament. The Lady Katz started their season in September and were undefeated in the Centex Soccer Association U11/U12 division.

In league play the Lady Katz scored 41 goals and allowed just 1. In the State Tournament the Lady Katz played 3 games on Saturday winning all 3, scoring 15 goals and allowing 1 goal to advance to the semifinals on Sunday.

In the semifinals they played Mesquite SA Strikers and won 6-0 to advance to the finals. In the finals they play Birdville SA Stronger and won 3-2 in overtime.

The Lady Katz were lead by forwards Bhrenlyn Fulton, Hadley Carrier and Alexzandria Mendoza. Key to the Lady Katz success in scoring were their midfielders Georgie McCuller, VeAni Snyder and Goldie Stegemoller.

The Lady Katz defenders that only allowed 4 goals all season was lead by Tatum Still, Bri Berniard, Autumn Hall and Callie Garza. The defenders were backed by goalie, Harlow Mark who had several amazing stops in the state tournament including one penalty kick in overtime.

The Lady Katz are coached by Jeremy Still, Brian Carrier and Carley Person.
