A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2023 in the Winchell Cemetery with Art Woodcox officiating.

Eddie was born September 6, 1944 in Brownwood, Texas to Walter Edward Sr. and Mildred Inez (Adams) Oliver. He graduated as Valedictorian of his class from Brookesmith high school and received a Bachelor of Science from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Eddie married Kay Elliott June 3, 1969 and they began a life together that blessed them with a son, Shane Oliver. Eddie joined the United States Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War.
