Saturday, November 25 is Small Business Saturday for 2023 – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for the local community. Small Business Saturday is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature franchise and online stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar establishments in their hometown to purchase holiday gifts.

Founded in 2010, Small Business Saturday has become an important part of small businesses’ busiest shopping season. Reported projected spending among U.S. consumers who shopped at independent retailers and restaurants on Small Business Saturday reached an estimated $17.9 billion in 2022.
