BRADY – The Early Lady Horns improved to 2-0 on the young basketball season Tuesday with a 44-42 road victory over the Brady Lady Bulldogs.

Early led 11-8 after one quarter, but Brady grabbed a 15-13 halftime lead that grew to 31-27 through three periods. In the fourth quarter, however, the Lady Horns owned a 17-11 edge in the scoreboard to complete the rally.

The Lady Horns received 12 points each from Jamie Vassar and Dakota Barksdale, seven from Jenna Hataway, six from Lindsey Bastardo, three from Pearl Sharp and two points from Gabby Benson.

Early is back in action at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at home against Miles.
